(2) The following regulations pertain to Signs permitted in the A-3, RS-l, RS-2, RS-P, and MH Districts. (a) Name Plat or Sign - One per dwelling unit not exceeding one (1) square foot in area. (b) Sign, Home Occupation - Unlighted, not to exceed two (2) square feet in area. (c) Sign, temporary - One per lot or use, not to exceed twelve (12) square feet in area pertaining to sale or rental of property on which it is located; or giving names of Contractors, Engineers and/or Architects during a construction period. (d) Sign, temporary - One sign not to exceed one hundred (100) square feet in area and no single dimension to exceed "twelve (12) feet, advertising the sale of lots within the subdivision and located thereon, providing that not more than one (1) such sign be located at each major approach to the subdivision. (e) All signs, except as mentioned in this subsection C (1) and (2) of Section 18 and official signs of government agencies, are prohibited in the A-3, RS-, RS-2 and MH district. (3) In any C-l, C-lA, C-3, C-4, I-I, I-2, and I-3 District; sign or billboard provided that when same is located within fifty (50) feet of an RS, A-3, or MH district boundary line, it shall be affixed to or be a part of a building, and not to extend over any street line nor project above the roof line. (a) No free standing sign or billboard shall exceed three hundred (300) feet in area. (b) No flashing sign shall be located within three hundred (300)feet of an A-3 or RS District. (4) In any C-2, Planned Shopping Center District, and in the RS-P district Commission approved commercial center. -76- \ \ -
