11/22 PROJECT 13 - SHERI·iAN BOULEVARD UNDERPASS STORU RELIEF SEWE:9.. The proposed Sherman Boulevard underpass storm relief sewer, as the title indicates, is intended primarily for improving the drainage for the railroad underpass of Sherman Boulevard, north of Burgess Street, although some additional adjacent local areas also will be benefited the'reby. The proposed relief sewers in Burgess Street and in Sherman Boulevard and High Street, will more effectively intercept storm runoff before it can accumulate in the underpass area. Additional relief is planned by the proposed revamping of the immediate local drainage collection system served by the storm pumping station, and by improving the pumping facilities now draining this underpass. The outlined area of direct benefits contains some 40 acres of land. PROJECT 14 - COVINGTON-BANKS RELIEF SE~vERS Part of the area proposed to be benefited by the proposed Covington-Banks relief sewers is within the outline of the City's combined Seto7erage system, and part is west of and adjacent thereto. Project l4-A, Banks-Darlene-Westview Storm Relief Sewer, is in two parts: Part (a) extends an existing separate storm sewer in Paul Street, west-wardly on 25th Avenue extended to Banks Avenue; thence northwardly in Strathmore Street to outfall to the Junk Ditch. Part (b) extends services southwardly from the existing storm sewer in Paul Street to areas south of Covington Road (Hiller Road).
