)19 ' ,- GA'iES 10 Passing -the Bean Bags In a circle formationo Several bean bags are passed about the circle as rapidly as possiblee Every player must pass every ban bago A player dropping the bag is out of the game. The last player standing is the winner. Grades 2, 3, or 4 20 Hit the Indian Club The children are divided into lines, each line stands one behind the other facing a row of nine Indian Clubs. Each individual can have two turns to try and knock the clubs down with the bean barso If not successful in knocking the clubs down~ the bags are thrown to the next person in line by a person who is standing back of the olubs. If club is hit. this counts as one pointo If more than one club is knocked down, the child is awaI~ded the ntnnber of points there are clubs downo 1!:hen each person ia each team has had their turns. the teams proceed to count up their total pointso The team having the most pOints is the winnero Grades 3=~ 30 Players line up side by side in flank formationo At a given distance from's line, bean bags are placed in a line, one less bag than the nmnber of players participat1ngo On a signal, the players race to get a bago The player failing to get a bag is out and another bag 1s taken out at the end ot each plaYa The last player to get a bag is the winnero 40 Toss Bag 'rag Keep=8way formation. nltn chases other players, If a player is caught with a bean bag in h1shand, he changes plaoes with f1It"~ The players can toss the bag in the air when 'tIt!r tries to tap them" and thus avoid being tagged with a bag in their possessiono LI~~L~ DOGGIE YOUR BONE IS GONE Equlp~ent: An object such as a blackboard eraser which serves as the dog's bone e A child is placed six or eight teet in front of the groupo A child is chosen to be the dog who sits on this chair and closes his eyes o Under the chair the jbject ~ or bone. 1s placedo A leader (usually the instructor) points to some child in the group to step up as stealthily as possible and take the ~K.H,x%B bone from the dog back to his seato In doing so, he should try to confuse the dog by taking an indirect route to the chairo If, in walking up to the chair the doggie should hear his footsteps, the doggie says. "Bow, wowt" At that signal the child goes back to his seat a nd the instructor beckons to mother child to try It~Q If successful in securing the bone, the child returns to his seat and all the children together t say~ "Little doggie. your bone Is gonet R The' doggie then turns around and tries to guess who has his bone 0 He may be given three guessaso If he fails he may choose another dong, or if he is 'successful the child who has the bone may be the new doggle o
