- .•. •.. .-. .... ... • -.. -- -- -.. -- • .. • - Cjtjzens Advisory Board The Citizens Advisory Board was created to serve as the formal means through which active citizen representation is provided to aid and support the development and the implementation of the Workable Program for Community Improvement, and the Comprehensive Planning Assistance Program for the Fort Wayne Metropolitan Area. In this capacity, the Board also reviews all Federal Grant applications filed by the City of Fort Wayne and/or the Council with respect to the scope of services and purpose of such applications . In addition, the Board receives periodic briefings on the various Federal categorical grants for which the Metropolitan Area is eligible. The Board further conducts research and advises the Mayor of Fort Wayne and the Council as to those specific Federal grant programs, which the Board feels local governments should undertake to improve the quality of living in the Community. -4-
