JUNIOR HIGH & HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT QUE S T I 0 ~ N A IRE ON STATUS OF WOMEN IN EDUCATION STUDENT _______ ------__________ ~Sex ____ Age----School ___________________ _ PURPOSE OF SURVEY: Fort Wayne's Mayor Lebamoff set up a Commission to find out about the status of women and girls in all phases of life in our city. By "status" we mean -- how important are women not only as wives and mothers but also in all areas such as in areas of education, religion; the work force~ politics, service to the community and legal ~ights, The main-purpose is to compare the status of women with that of men, Your answers are extremely i~portant since they will help us get a good idea of student views and opinions on the subject. We want lour opinion alone, not those of your relatives or friends. A. Society seems to be moving toward a way of thinking about men and women as primarily equal members of the human race rather than as competitors and, at times, almost as enemies. 1.
