d. Provide decontamination services for personnel who become contaminated with radioactive fallout while engaged in emergency services or through other means. This risk will be carried out under the direction of the County Radiological Defense Officer. e. Provide and coordinate all available transportation to move personnel, equipment, and supplies. 8. The City and Volunteer Fire Departments will be responsible for: a. The control of fires. b. The rescue of trapped persons. c. Assisting in decontamination service. This will be carried out under the direction of the Fort Wayne County Radiological Defense Officer. 9. Commissioners of Building Department, County Assessor, Surveyor, and Engineers a. Providing information on damage sustained by the county to its population, resources, highways, public utilities and other facilities. This assessment is to be used by all levels of government to assign priorities for assistance and as a basis for declaring a disaster emergency under Public Laws 920 and/or 93-288. 10. Sanitary Departments will be responsible for: a. The removal of sewage and solid waste. b. Assisting other agencies or departments if possible. 11. City Controller and County Auditor will be responsible for: a. Initiating and administering for an interim post attack period, the general policies established by federal-state government including direct controls on emergency consumer rationing, price and rent controls. Secondarily, support indirect post attack controls of wages and salaries, financial, monetary, and credit operations by assisting appropriate federal and state agencies assigned these responsibilities. b. Supervising and recording the expenditures of emergency funds for the governmental agencies under their control. (7)
