• PAINT PROGRAM. *No Code Citation* Citizen Procedures: Any resident who meets the Federallow/moderate income guidelines as established by the 1990 census may apply for free paint through Community and Economic ~ Development during normal working hours, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. ~ This program runs from June through September. City Action: An interview is scheduled with the applicant to verify income and explain the program. If applicant is eligible an inspection of paint needs is scheduled, and a voucher is given to the applicant specifying supplies needed. The voucher can be redeemed at a predetermined paint store. Periodic inspections are made to assure progress and assess additional supply needs~ Painting must be completed in a reasonable amount of time.
