i'~ • PARK TREE PROCEDURES. *No Code Citation* ****************** Citizen Procedures: Citizens wishing to report a problem with public trees (these are trees either growing in a park or on the right of way) can call the Lawton Park Office, between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p. m., Monday through Friday. For non-emergencies after hours, call the Lawton Park office and leave a message on the answering machine. Non emergencies include parts of trees lying on lawns or sidewalks or any place other than in the travel lanes and small hanging parts of the tree not over heavily traveled roadways. If the public tree or part of the tree is blocking a heavily traveled roadway or a large portion of the top of the tree is broken and suspended over a heavily traveled road, and it is after hours, then call: 1) Bill Diedrichs - - Steve Goodwin 3) Dennis Noa~ City Action: Tree Division will send someone out to survey the problem and detennine the appropriate action. Responsible Office: Tree Division at Lawton Park, 427-1253 Contact: Tree Division, Lawton Park ~FORT 'YAYNE ZOO~ :;:1\'0 Code Citation* General Information: Located at 3411 Shennan Boulevard. The Zoo operates from the end of April to Mid-October. Hours are 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday and holidays. Admission is $4.50 for adults; $3.00 for children and Seniors; Free for under two years and Fort Wayne Zoological Society Members. The Great Zoo Halloween: Mid-to late-October (dates change annually); open 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. weekdays and 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $2.00 for adults and $2.50 for children. Christmas at the Zoo: Mid-to late-December (dates change annually); open 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. Admission is $2.00 per person, free to children under 2 and Fort Wayne Zoological Society members.
