___ ------MAYOR/CIDEF OF STAFF • COMMUNITY DISPUTE RESOLUTION SERVICE. * No Code Citation* Citizen Procedures: Anyone having a dispute with someone else can contact this group for mediation services. The mediation process is free. Eligible disputes include: landlord/tenant, family members, business/customer, neighbor to neighbor, small cla~s, teen to teen and victim/ offender. City Action: The mediation team volunteers will contact the disputants. Once the process has been explained and a mutually acceptable meeting time has been selected the mediation process will occur. The mediation process is confidential and, if successful, a written agreement is signed by all involved parties. Follow ups will occur as agreed upon at the time of mediation. This office serves as a liaison for residents and city government. Residents may contact the office either in person or via telephone. City Action: Concerns and/or complaints are directed to the proper city department. Office staff will complete follow ups and investigations or inspections as needed. This office also organizes and works closely with all neighborhood associations within the city.
