.' Questionaire for Northeast By Pass Relocation Study Alternate routes are being studied for a possible four lane highway from u.s. 30 near New Haven to I-69 North of Fort Wayne. 1. Do any of the study corridors have an ~pact on any area regulated or governed by your corporation, group, agency, or committee? If yes, please describe. The City of Fort Wayne City utilities (Water and Sewer) has jurisdictional rights within the impact area. 2. Please list known positive aspects of the proposed project. Reduction of traffic on existing U.S.30 ByPass (Coliseum Boulevard); also, to relieve traffic congestion within the city. 3. Does the project area contain any unusual features that should be considered? If yes, please describeo Line "A'l is within a vicinity of River Haven, which is considered by some as a blighted area. Also, Line "A" crosses Norfolk & Western Railway siding yards, which would necessitate a rather extensive overhead bridge structure. are It is assumed the three routes shownAto coincide with those 4. Additional comments: routes being proposed·for the S.E. ByPass. It is also recommended interchanges be insiaIIed at 0.8.30, S.R.3?, DUpont Rd & 1-69. Overhead passes are recommended at all railroad crossings, Edgerton Rd., Harper, Parent, Stellhorn, Thurman Rd., all based on utilizing Line "C"; and, finally, the N.E. ByPass and S.E.
