Jazz Ensemble

Symphonic Wind Ensemble
Composer-in-residence Steven Bryant will conclude his visit to IPFW with a performance of his composition "Radiant Joy" by the Symphonic Winds during Dreams and Fantasies, featuring guest composers Ken Johnson and Bryant and student soloist Ben Dykeman.

Percussion Ensemble
Percussionists perform selections from composers such as Joe Green, George Hamilton Green, and Charles Johnson, using a mixture of traditional and unique rhythm instruments.

Trombone Studio Showcase
Pinciple trombonist with the Fort Wayne Philharmonic and IPFW Philharmonic mentor David B. Cooke presents performances featuring students from his trombone studio.

Saxophone Quartet and Choir
The Sax Quartet is comprised of soprano, alto, tenor, and baritone saxophone. This popular IPFW ensemble performs major works from the saxophone quartet canon. The saxophone choir is open to musicians throughout the community.

Choral Ensembles Spring Concert
Enjoy this opportunity to hear all three IPFW choral ensembles share the stage: the University Singers, the Chamber Singers, and the Choral Union. Repertoire will include Rossini's Petite messe solennelle and Brahms's Zigeunerlieder.

The orchestra performs Beethoven's Symphony No. 5 and welcomes guest Alan Severs, performing Hummel's Trumpet Concerto.
